About Howard (Howie)

Meet Howard Gross, the owner and founder of Gross Investments. 

I am a local businessman and entrepreneur, and I have resided in Brunswick Ohio for over twenty years. I have had active businesses in the area for the last fifteen years, and look forward to continuing to expand and grow all throughout northeast Ohio and beyond.  

I always was an entrepreneur at heart. From selling skateboards to kids in the neighborhood when I was a kid, selling Mountain Dew out of my locker in high school to fellow students, and riding a lawn mower around my neighborhood at 12 years old - I was destined for the journey that I am on. I ran a successful landscaping business for over ten years, however I was always very interested in investing and how I could make my money work for me. Now, my interest has evolved into developing strategies to make others’ money work for them.

I have a true passion for financial literacy, strategy and implementing those strategies. People need help implementing strategies that could work for them that they may not even be aware of. I am extremely fortunate and blessed that I can now pursue my true passion and bring value to people through our firm, Gross Investments. 

Anybody that knows me knows that I am very far from the “Status quo”, and so is our firm. I set up Gross Investments to be different than your typical financial planning or investment firm. While I provide all of the services of a typical financial advisor, I have a few things that I believe set me, our firm and our advisors apart from our competitors. 

I do not believe that people need to have a minimum amount of assets or income to begin working on their financial plan or accumulating assets. So I can help someone who has ten dollars to their name just like I could work with a multi-millionaire. If you’re a high net worth individual and you need a very complex plan put in place, I can help you. If you want to start saving twenty dollars a week into a mutual fund, I can help you. 

I also do not believe in pigeon holing people into making decisions that they do not understand. I believe in arming my clients with all of the knowledge, options and resources that they need in order for them to make their own decisions that they can feel confident about making. I do not have a one size fits all approach that I need to fit my clients into. As an independent advisor and firm, we have endless solutions to meet the needs of our clients. 

In my free time I enjoy almost any activity outdoors including landscaping, golfing and enjoying our family pool.
